- Expressing meaning and generic structure of short essays by using various written languages accurately, fluently and acceptably in daily contact in the form of procedure and report texts. (6.2)
DEFINITION:
A report text is a text to describe the way things are, with reference to a range of natural, man-made, and social phenomena in our environment.
The structure of the text consists of:
- General Classification: tells what the phenomenon under discussion is.
- Description: tells what the phenomenon under discussion is like in terms of parts, qualities, habits or behaviour.
